Land Acknowledgment

In the pursuit of historic truth and a desire for deeper understanding, the Seattle Metals Guild and the Symposium Planning Committee acknowledge that our creative work takes place on the ancestral lands of the Northwest Indigenous Peoples. We recognize that we gather as uninvited guests on the traditional territories of the coastal tribes and the many sovereign Tribal Nations who have called this region home for generations. We honor their past, present, and future stewardship with respect and gratitude.
